Location fabulous, easy access, close to amenities, economical cost, comfortable and good facilities.

The staff was very friendly hotel very clean and tidy everything there you needed food shops just down the road walking distance no traffic noise

The free wireless internet was a great advantage....

The room size was decent and the bed was comfortable. The location was great for exploring the city and the nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating in their service.

The festive season was not that festive and the overall holiday experience was lackluster. The decorations were minimal, the ambiance was dull and the atmosphere lacked the holiday cheer.

I was only staying for one night but I have stayed there before and it was pleasant with it's surroundings and stockland was 5 minutes away.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were able to extend our stay for an extra night, which was no problem. Motel was located in an area which was a walking distance to shops, fast food outlets and to the lovely Ross River. I would definitely recommend to any one wanting a place to stay whilst on holidays in Townsville; or even just passing through.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and enjoyed some of its best aspects. The room was clean and well-equipped, including free WI-FI, TV, tea/coffee, fridge. In addition, the location was convenient as it was close to shops, restaurants, and some city attractions. The staff were accommodating and allowed us to check in late.

It's hard to think of anything negative to say about this hotel; it provided everything necessary for our stay.

How close it was for what i needed to do.

Road noise as i had a front room facing the road.

Super close to hospital and a big shopping centre. the room was affordable with a good size bed and TV. Plus, the staff was friendly and gave me helpful tips on places to eat nearby.

My biggest issue was the noise level. I could hear everything that was happening outside my room, like doors closing and people talking.

I liked that it was close to the hospital. Its location makes it an ideal place for people attending the Townsville hospital. This is a niche market and Cedar Lodge needs to upgrade facilities to cater to this need before competition steps in. There should be discounts to people who are there for the sole purpose of hospital appointments and procedures. My husban and I paid $ 300 for very basic accommodation for 2 nights and we were hardly there. I asked for a late check out and the best they could offer was 1 hour.

The shower area needs attention. It just lacked that clean feeling.
